Givisiez, Switzerland. In 2019, the SCOTT-SRAM team added yet another force to their midst, Lars Forster, further solidifying themselves as the team to beat in Elite Cross Country Mountain Biking.
Proudly bearing the European Champion jersey from the 2018 season, Lars joined SCOTT-SRAM MTB Racing for the 2019 season hoping to continue this trajectory to glory. Since then Lars has proved himself time and time again, taking a host of prestigious wins – the 2019 Cape Epic and Snowshoe World Cup, and the 2020 Swiss Epic, just to name a few.
Well, through the ups and downs of a difficult 2021 season, the hard work and dedication finally paid off, leading to another career highlight win for the Swiss powerhouse.
On the 15th of August 2021, in Novi Sad, Serbia, Lars Forster repeated history, taking his second European Championship title in fine fashion aboard the all-new SCOTT Spark RC. Just in time for the 2022 racing season, the acting European Champion is handed his work tool for the season, a specially designed Spark RC, that is second to none.

To commemorate this achievement, an eye-catching one-off Spark RC has been developed in collaboration with Lars, to be ridden in the 2022 season. For European Champion Lars Forster, the special edition Spark RC comes with the parts to match, featuring; RockShox SID Ultimate, SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS Drivetrain, Syncros Silverton SL (30mm) carbon wheels, Syncros Fraser iC SL combo and even a lighter version of his Tofino saddle saving 50g. Bikes definitely don’t come any more premium than this.
